MainStreet Family Care operates a rapidly growing population of urgent care/primary care clinics throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia and most recently, we expanded into our fourth state - North Carolina!

We aren't slowing down anytime soon and will double in size in 2023!


Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to join our Revenue Cycle Management team! This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in downtown Birmingham, AL.

Our ideal Full-Time Administrative Assistant will have excellent customer service skills, be able to handle inbound calls quickly and efficiently, and work exceptionally well in a team environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer the telephone and create the first impression of the company to the caller
  • Provide solutions/answers in a prompt and courteous manner, following established policies and procedures
  • Properly triage telephone calls in accordance with policy
  • Assist patients and responsible parties regarding account inquiries
  • Process patient payments and set up payment plans per billing policy
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
  • Answer email and faxes in Outlook group email
  • Provide full administrative support including scanning, copying, and data entry
  • Prepare and submit medical records to insurers and other requesters
  • Provide support to the Revenue Cycle Management department and other duties as assigned

 

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year of professional office experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
